Tambakti Misses Training Camp Due to Foot Injury
Monday 10-11-2025
The Saudi national team began its training camp in Jeddah, with the absence of Al-Hilal defender Hassan Tambakti, who felt pain in his foot that prevented him from participating in the first training sessions in preparation for the 2025 Arab Cup scheduled to take place in Qatar.

The medical staff of the national team stated that Tembakti underwent thorough examinations to determine the nature of his injury and the potential duration of his absence, with the results expected to be announced in the coming days before the resumption of team training.

The training camp for the national team kicked off on Sunday in Jeddah, as part of the preparation program that will continue until November 18. This is part of the intensive preparations for the upcoming participation in the Arab Championship.

On the first day, most of the national team players attended the training sessions, except for the players from Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Nassr, who participated with their clubs in the Roshen Saudi League competitions. The French coach Hervé Renard decided to give them a day off.

The delayed players are expected to join the national team's camp today, Monday, completing the squad before the two friendly matches against Ivory Coast on November 14 and Algeria on the 18th of the same month.

The Saudi national team is competing in the Arab Cup Qatar 2025 in Group B, which includes the teams from Morocco, the winner of the Oman vs. Somalia match, as well as the victor of the Comoros vs. Yemen match, in a group that is considered one of the strongest in the tournament.
