Al-Ahly Wins Egyptian Super Cup
Al-Ahly won the Egyptian Super Cup title after defeating Zamalek with a score of 2-0 in the final match of the tournament, which took place this evening, Sunday, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE.
Ashraf Ben Cherki scored Al Ahly's first goal in the 44th minute of the match, and Marwan Attia added the second goal in the 72nd minute.
The match saw Al Ahly's player, Nits Gradychar, suffer an injury, and Tahr Mohamed Tahr came on as his substitute in the 57th minute. Additionally, Mahmoud Trezeguet, the star of the team, also got injured, and Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan replaced him in the 68th minute.
It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly qualified for the final after defeating Ceramica Cleopatra with a score of 2-1 in the semifinals, while Zamalek advanced by winning against Pyramids in a penalty shootout, 5-4, after the regular time ended in a goalless draw, 0-0.
