Manchester United star Matthijs de Ligt made press statements after the draw against Tottenham Hotspur with a score of 2-2 in the 11th round of the Premier League.

The Dutch defender said: "Fortunately, we got a point, and I believe we deserved more based on our style of play. I felt we were a bit tired in the second half and didn't get the chance to get out of our half."

He added: "Their first goal was a bit lucky, which annoyed me a little, but I am proud of how the team resisted and regained the point in a tough stadium."

He emphasized: "Last season we lost to Nottingham Forest and Tottenham 1-0, but last week and today you see that we have a strong motivation to fight and get points. The season is long, and drawing matches is better than losing."

He concluded: "As you saw today, we are very dangerous, we have great speed in attack, we are defensively stable, and we know our strengths and exploit them. Today we had more chances to penetrate their defense, we played a good match and I believe we deserved a bit more."
