Health Issue Excludes Coman from France Squad
Rafael Raymond, the spokesperson for the French Football Federation, explained the reason for not calling up Kingsley Coman, the Al Nassr player, to the national team roster during the upcoming international break in November.
Koman has been excluded from the French national team list despite being present at the last training camp, while Theo Hernandez, the left-back from Al-Hilal, and N'Golo Kante, the star midfielder from Al-Ittihad, have been called up.
Raymond stated in press remarks that the exclusion of Koeman from the French national team roster for the matches against Ukraine and Azerbaijan is due to a health issue.
He added: "There is no objection from the coaching staff to include Coman in the French national team roster, and his club has already been contacted regarding this matter."
He added: "There is a medical issue that prevented Koeman from joining the France squad, and his club can confirm that."
The French national team will play two matches against Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup on November 13 and 16.
