Saturday 08-11-2025
French defender Lenny Yoro spoke about his decision to join Manchester United in the summer of 2024, confirming that he does not feel any regret after turning down an offer from Real Madrid at that time.

In statements reported by the Telegraph, Euro said: "I have never felt any regret. Manchester United is a top-level club. I knew about the project before I signed. Of course, I didn't expect us to finish the first season in fifteenth place, but these are things we have to face."

The player clarified that the choice was not limited to just the two clubs: "It wasn't just between Real Madrid and Manchester. There were many clubs that wanted me. But I chose United, and I am very happy with that decision."

It is noted that the young defender joined Manchester United from Lille for 62 million euros, has played 43 matches, scored one goal, and provided two assists, with his contract expiring in 2029.
