The Italian League Association announced the winners of the October awards, with Gian Piero Gasperini, the head coach of AS Roma, winning the Best Coach award, while Napoli's Cameroonian player, Frank Anguissa, was awarded the Best Player of the Month.
The association clarified that the selection of the winners was based on a comprehensive technical and statistical evaluation of the performance of teams and players during rounds six to nine of the Italian league, in addition to fan voting.
