Guardiola Requests Signing of Real Madrid Star

The website "Fichajes" revealed that Manchester City’s head coach, Spanish manager Pep Guardiola, has requested the club's management to sign Brazilian star Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid to strengthen the team's attacking line in the upcoming period.

According to the source, Guardiola sees Vinicius as the ideal element to form a strong attacking trio alongside Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, as part of a plan through which the Spanish coach aims to enhance the attacking effectiveness of the English team.

The report indicated that Manchester City is preparing to make a massive offer of around 150 million euros to persuade Real Madrid to part with the player, with the club intending to take official action during the summer of 2026, capitalizing on the uncertainty surrounding the contract renewal negotiations for Vinicius with the royal club.

It is noted that Vinicius, who joined Real Madrid in 2018, is considered one of the key players in the team's recent successes, including winning the UEFA Champions League titles. However, his current contract ends in 2027, amid financial disputes that are hindering its extension so far.
