Renard Calls Up Salem Al-Dosari to Lead the Green Team in Friendlies Against Ivory Coast and Algeria
The French coach Hervé Renard revealed the list of the Saudi national team that will undergo a training camp in Jeddah in preparation for the Arab Cup, scheduled to take place in Qatar at the beginning of December. The list features star player Salem Al-Dosari at the top of the selected names.
The camp will take place from November 9 to 18, and it includes a comprehensive preparation program featuring intensive training sessions and two friendly matches aimed at enhancing the players' readiness before entering official competitions.
The green team’s goalkeeper list includes: Nawaf Al-Aqeedi, Abdulrahman Al-Sanabi, Mohammed Al-Yami, and Raghed Najjar. In the defense line, there are: Muteb Al-Harbi, Abdulilah Al-Amri, Hassan Al-Tambakti, Saud Abdulhamid, and Nawaf Boshul, along with a group of young players.
As for the midfield, it included prominent names such as Mohammed Kanno, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Nasser Al-Dosari, and Salem Al-Dosari, along with Musab Al-Juwair and Sultan Mandash, who continue to deliver impressive performances in the local league.
In the attacking line, Renard called up Saleh Al-Shehri, Feras Al-Breikan, Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, and Abdullah Al-Hamdan as part of the squad that will represent the national team in the friendly matches during the camp.
The national team will play its first match against Ivory Coast on November 14 at the Al-Inma Stadium, before facing Algeria in the final match on November 18 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, as part of its preparations for the Arab Cup, which includes Morocco and the winners from Oman, Somalia, Comoros, and Yemen in its group.
