Al-Ahly Defeats Ceramica and Qualifies for the Egyptian Super Cup Final
Al-Ahly achieved a victory over their counterpart Ceramica Cleopatra with a score of 2-1 in a match held this evening, Thursday, at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in the semifinals of the Egyptian Super Cup.
Mahmoud Trezeguet scored for Al Ahly in the 19th minute, then Marwan Othman Otaka equalized for Ceramica in the 41st minute. Nits Gradichar added the second goal for Al Ahly in the 52nd minute.
Al Ahly is participating in the tournament as the champion of the Egyptian League, while Ceramica Cleopatra qualified as the champion of the Professional League Cup.
Al Ahly will face the winner of the match between Zamalek and Pyramids in the other semifinal, which is scheduled for today, Thursday, at 7:30 PM Cairo time.
