Al-Ittihad Club Launches New Executive Committee for Sports Development

The Al-Ittihad Club has established a specialized executive committee for various sports, in a move aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and supporting the overall development within the club's framework. This initiative aligns with the club's direction towards achieving a clear vision that is in line with its future strategy.

Dr. Faisal Pasha has taken on the presidency of the new committee, and he is a member of the board of directors of the non-profit organization affiliated with the club, which includes several prominent administrative and executive figures as members.

The committee includes Domingos Oliveira, the CEO of Al-Ittihad Club, and Dr. Imad Al-Rifai, a member of the board of directors of the non-profit organization, along with Roy Lanca, the executive director of various sports, who has also been assigned the duties of secretary.

A number of distinguished members joined the committee as external members, including Dr. Muhammad Bukhari, Saleh Abdullah Kamel, and Engineer Luay Mashabi, the former president of Al-Ittihad Club, as part of the effort to support diversity and expertise within the executive team.

The executive committee focuses on developing the various sports sectors within the club by enhancing both administrative and technical performance, as well as monitoring age group programs and training camps, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and sports personnel.

Sources within the club confirmed that the committee held a series of meetings in the past period to discuss implementation mechanisms, noting that the ultimate goal is to create a comprehensive sports environment that nurtures talent and develops champions, while solidifying the federation's position as one of the leading clubs supporting the diversity and advancement of Saudi sports.
