The media figure Ahmed Hassan, a former star of Zamalek, revealed the reason behind the stalled transfer of Osama Faisal, the star of Al Ahly Bank, to the Red Castle.
Ahmed Hassan stated on his personal Facebook account: "A source from Al Ahly: We have a strong desire to sign Osama Faisal, and the player has agreed to the offer from the Red Castle, but there is a financial overvaluation from the management of the National Bank Club to release the player."
On the other hand, the Egyptian Super Cup kicks off today, with Al Ahly facing Ceramica Cleopatra in one semifinal, while Zamalek takes on Pyramids in the other semifinal.
The match between Al Ahly and Ceramica will kick off at 5:00 PM Cairo time, while the match between Zamalek and Pyramids will take place at 7:30 PM Cairo time.
