Court Summons Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain

The French news agency reported that Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain will appear before the labor court on November 17 to address the case concerning the reclassification of the French star's previous employment contract with the club from a temporary contract to a permanent one.

The case is part of the legal claim filed by Mbappé to recover 55 million euros in overdue payments, which include a significant portion of the last third of his signing bonus amounting to approximately 36.66 million euros, as well as his salaries for the last few months with the club.

The French star joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 on a free transfer, after his contract with the Parisian club ended.

On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain is sticking to its position, as the club asserts that there was a verbal agreement made in the summer of 2023 between the two parties, which stipulates that Mbappé would waive part of his dues to support the club's financial situation. However, Mbappé's legal team has categorically denied this, confirming that no written legal agreement has been signed or established regarding this matter.

The case is considered one of the most prominent legal issues in the world of football for a long time, and it may open the door to significant financial and legal repercussions between the two parties in the coming months.
