The Iraqi club Zakho achieved an important victory over its guest Al Ain from the UAE with a score of 2-0, in the third round of the Gulf Champions League, in a match that saw a large turnout of fans at Zakho International Stadium.

The match started strongly with a clear dominance from the players of Khabour, who imposed their rhythm from the beginning, and managed to earn a penalty kick in the 16th minute, which Amjad Attwan converted into the first goal for his team.

Zakho continued to apply pressure and control the flow of the match, with Nigerian player Aliou Adam adding the second goal in the 33rd minute with a rocket shot from outside the box, declaring the complete superiority of the home team.
