Former Zamalek Star Attacks Al Ahly Officials
Salah Suleiman, the former Zamalek star, attacked the Al Ahly management, asserting that the signings made by the red team in the last summer transfer window were random.
Suleiman stated on the "Classico" program on ON TV: "Al Ahly's withdrawal against Zamalek last season was behind the random signings to appease the fans."
He added: "Al Ahly officials signed more than one player for the same position, neglecting the real needs of the team, such as the defense position."
He concluded his statements: "After the withdrawal and the fans' backlash against the Al Ahly management, they tried to appease them with unnecessary signings like Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Trezeguet, and Ashraf Bencharki."
