Désiré Doué Wins the Golden Boy Award for 2025
French player Désiré Doué, star of Paris Saint-Germain, has been awarded the Golden Boy Award for 2025, an award given annually by the Italian magazine Tuttosport to the best young player under 21 in Europe.
The Italian magazine, along with several global newspapers, announced Doué's victory, confirming in its statement that the jury had no doubts, as the player shone in an exceptional year by all standards.
Doué's crowning came after an amazing season with Paris Saint-Germain, where he played a prominent role in the team's achievement of five domestic and continental titles during 2025, including the French league, the French Cup, the French Super Cup, as well as the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup.
During his historic season, the young French star managed to score 16 goals and provide 16 assists, confirming his status as one of the most prominent rising talents in global football.
Tuttosport had previously announced a list of 25 nominees for the Golden Boy Award, including Kobarsi, Wilds, Güler, and Estivao, before the title was awarded to the Paris Saint-Germain winger.
With this achievement, Désiré Doué became the second player in the history of Paris Saint-Germain to win the Golden Boy Award, after star Kylian Mbappé, who won it in 2017, continuing the Parisian club's commitment to enhancing its presence in the record of outstanding European talents.
