The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has reappeared with the famous British journalist Piers Morgan in a new interview scheduled to air on November 4, in which he revealed his candid opinion on the eternal comparison with Lionel Messi.

Morgan asked Ronaldo: "Some say Messi is better than you, what do you think?" Cristiano replied without hesitation: "Messi is better than me? I do not agree with that opinion... and I don't want to be modest."

The Portuguese star also addressed the issue of becoming the first billionaire athlete weeks ago, responding: "That's not true, I've been a billionaire for years (laughs)."

As for the comments made by his former teammate Wayne Rooney, who said that Messi is the best in history, Ronaldo commented: "These statements do not represent any problem for me."

It is worth mentioning that Ronaldo had previously conducted an interview with Morgan three years ago, in which Ronaldo sparked widespread controversy after criticizing the situation at Manchester United and its then-coach Erik Ten Hag.
