Porto Striker Close to Moving to the English Premier League
Monday 03-11-2025
According to "Fichajes", Spanish striker Samuel Omorodion, star of FC Porto, may leave the team during the upcoming winter transfer window, in a deal that could be worth up to 80 million euros, amid significant interest from English clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

The site clarified that the two London clubs have entered into a fierce competition to sign the 21-year-old young striker, following his impressive performances with Porto this season, where he scored 9 goals in 12 matches, after finishing last season with a total of 27 goals and 3 assists.

The same source indicated that Porto, which is known for its economic model based on discovering talents and selling them at high prices, is ready to negotiate if it receives a suitable offer, as the club's management considers selling the player for this amount to be a logical and investment-worthy decision.

Chelsea had previously attempted to sign Omorodion for 44 million euros, but the deal faltered due to the player's ankle injury. Under the management of coach Enzo Maresca, the English club has returned to consider signing him, while Tottenham seeks to compensate for Harry Kane's departure and considers the player the best option to lead their attack.

The report confirmed that the Spanish striker has become one of the most prominent attacking talents in Europe, and his potential move to the Premier League could be the most significant deal in the upcoming winter transfer market.
