Media personality Ahmed Hassan revealed the truth about Al Ahly's desire to bring back Palestinian star Wissam Abu Ali to the red team.
Hassan stated via his personal account on Facebook: "A source in Al Ahly: We are not thinking about bringing back Wissam Abu Ali again... but we are looking to repeat the experience by searching for a new Palestinian striker."
Wissam Abu Ali had transferred to Columbus Crew in the United States during the last summer transfer window, coming from Al Ahly, and the red team has not yet been able to compensate for his departure.
Al Ahly is currently preparing to face Ceramica Cleopatra on Thursday in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup.
