The Saudi Al Hilal Club continues its steps to maintain its core structure, after recently succeeding in renewing the contracts of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bono and Serbian midfielder Sergej Savic, in addition to right-back Hamad Al-Yami.
The Al Hilal management is now heading towards resolving the future of another duo among the team's key players, namely Portuguese Ruben Neves, the star midfielder, and Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly, the captain of the defense line, to ensure continued technical stability.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Longari, who specializes in transfer news, Al Hilal has already taken official steps to renew the contracts of Neves and Koulibaly as part of a long-term plan to maintain key foreign players.
The Al Hilal management proposed to Neves to extend his contract for an additional three years until 2028, while they offered Koulibaly a deal to extend his contract for two more seasons to ensure his presence within the current squad.
This approach is part of the blue club's strategy to maintain balance in the team's lines and support its ongoing sports project, especially after the success of previous moves in securing Bono and Savic.
It is expected that the Al Hilal management will announce a final agreement with Neves first within the next few days, followed by the announcement of Koulibaly's extension, completing the stability of the team's core pillars in the coming years.
