According to press sources, Danish coach Jess Thorup decided to take all players, including the injured, to travel to the UAE in preparation for the tournament.
Al-Ahly will face Ceramica in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup on Thursday evening, November 6.
The winner will advance to the final to meet the qualifier from the other match between Zamalek and Pyramids on November 9.
Meanwhile, the two losing teams in the semi-finals will play a match to determine the third and fourth places in the tournament on November 9.
