Monday 03-11-2025
The Ittihad first football team has returned to rely on the services of Hassan Kadesh and Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud after they participated in the group training on Sunday evening, following the completion of their recovery from injuries that had sidelined them recently.

The players who started in the last match against Al-Khaleej underwent recovery training to avoid fatigue, while Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao supervised an intensive training session for the rest of the team in preparation for upcoming commitments.

French player Karim Benzema participated in the training after missing the last round of the Roshen Saudi League due to injury, in addition to Malian Mohamedou Doumbia and Croatian Jan Carlo Simic, who did not appear against Al-Khaleej due to the foreign player quota system.

The Ittihad squad is almost complete ahead of the match against UAE's Sharjah, scheduled for Tuesday in Jeddah as part of the fourth round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League, except for defender Ahmed Sharahili, who continues his rehabilitation program.

Sharahili is continuing his recovery from a left thigh hamstring injury, while Kadesh has recovered from a similar injury, and Al-Aboud has recovered from the effects of a jaw injury that caused his absence.

Ittihad welcomes its UAE guest amidst varying morale following an exciting local match against Al-Khaleej, where they managed to come back from a 4-0 deficit to a historic 4-4 draw, which boosts their motivation for the upcoming Asian encounter.
