Malcom Leaves Al-Hilal Mission in Doha and Travels to Spain.. What are the Reasons?

Brazilian star Malcom Oliveira, a player for Al-Hilal, left the Qatari capital Doha on Monday morning heading to Spain, accompanied by a member of the medical staff, after feeling a recurrence of his ankle injury, as announced by the club through its account on the "X" platform.

Malcom's decision to travel came unexpectedly, especially since he was part of the team that arrived in Doha on Sunday in preparation for the match against Qatari club Al-Gharafa in the AFC Champions League.

The player suffered the same injury during the match against Al-Ahli in the third round of the Saudi Pro League, which caused him to miss about 10 days before returning to participate in subsequent matches with Al-Hilal.

The medical staff of Al-Hilal aims to use this medical trip to assess the player's health condition more accurately and to ensure his readiness before making a decision regarding the treatment period and return to the pitch.

This step comes to ensure that the injury does not worsen, especially given Malcom's significant importance in the team's strategy during local and continental competitions.

With Malcom absent from the match against Al-Gharafa, the number of players unable to participate increases, including Serbian Sergej Milinković-Savić, Uruguayan Darwin Núñez, in addition to the team's defenders Hasan Tambakti and Ali Al-Bulaihi.

These absences pose a significant challenge for coach Simone Inzaghi, who seeks to maintain the team's Asian superiority despite the pressure of matches and multiple injuries.
