Al-Nasr Records Best Start in Its History in the League
The Saudi Al-Nasr Club has set a record in the Roshan League after defeating Al-Faihah in a match held on Saturday evening.
Al-Nasr won against Al-Faihah with a score of two to one in the match that took place at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, as part of the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League.
According to Saudi press reports, Al-Nasr has recorded its best start in its history in the Pro League, achieving its seventh consecutive victory for the first time, surpassing a series of six consecutive victories that it had accomplished twice before.
It is worth mentioning that the first time was in the 2014-2015 season under the leadership of Spanish coach Raúl Caneda when the team started its league journey with victories in the first six rounds, but the streak ended in the seventh round after losing to Al-Ahli 1-2.
Meanwhile, the second series of six consecutive victories occurred in the initial rounds of the league during the 2018-2019 season under the guidance of Uruguayan coach Daniel Carreño, which ended in a draw with Al-Faihah 1-1 in the seventh round.
