Mohsen Saleh: Al Ahly Needs 5 New Signings

Mohsen Saleh, the former Al Ahly star, confirmed that the red club needs to sign 5 new players to renew the blood and ambition in the team.

Mohsen Saleh said on the "Malab On" program on "On Sport" channel: "Al Ahly needs 5 signings and to let go of 5 players in return. It's not necessary that the players who leave are bad, but Al Ahly needs change."

He added: "Al Ahly players have become satisfied with ambition and titles; we need to renew the blood and ambition, so we must change the old players and sign new ones. This means we need to take steps in the matter of change, starting with El Shenawy, Taher, Afsha, and Hussein El Shahat, and we need to bring in players who have the ambition to win titles."

He continued: "The local Super Cup will be between Al Ahly and Pyramids because they are stronger than Zamalek and Ceramica. The experience that Pyramids has gained in the past period may not allow Al Ahly to return to the top of the league if they win their postponed matches and widen the gap to 4 points and maintain it, and they have certainly learned from last season."
