Al Ahly Seeks to Strengthen Defense in Winter Transfer Market
The Egyptian newspaper "Al-Ahram" reported that Al Ahly is seeking to strengthen the team's defense in the upcoming winter transfer market after head coach Yis Torob requested the addition of new defenders for the red team.
The newspaper added that the planning committee at Al Ahly has decided to sign Ahmed Tarek, a defender from Zed Club, and Mahmoud Al-Jazzar, a player from Bank Al Ahly, following their impressive performances in recent seasons.
The newspaper continued that Al Ahly's management has begun negotiations to contract with Ahmed Tarek, where the idea of a swap deal has been proposed, involving the transfer of player Mustafa Al-Ash to Zed Club in exchange for waiving Ahmed Tarek.
Additionally, Al Ahly officials are negotiating with Bank Al Ahly to finalize the deal for Mahmoud Al-Jazzar, and the club is looking to complete the contract by offering one of the players as part of the deal along with a financial sum to convince Bank Al Ahly to relinquish his services.
