Young star Lamine Yamal, winger for FC Barcelona, is working to regain his best form after the criticism directed at his performance in the recent Clasico match against Real Madrid, according to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo".

The newspaper explained that the 18-year-old player suffered from groin pain before the Clasico, which prevented him from appearing at his usual level, as he was unable to showcase his typical threat in one-on-one encounters. During the final minutes of the match, he moved into the center and played as a second striker, managing to deliver two dangerous passes, one of which was close to turning the score in favor of his team.

The newspaper added that Yamal underwent a special training program this week, in addition to team training, in preparation for the match against Elche tomorrow, Sunday, at the Montjuïc stadium. The player showed excellent physical condition during the training sessions, appearing more active and enthusiastic without any signs of the pain he previously suffered from.

The newspaper confirmed that Barcelona is paying special attention to the young player wearing the number 10 jersey, considering him one of the future cornerstones of the team, noting that the intensive physiotherapy sessions he underwent are beginning to bear fruit.

It also clarified that Yamal decided to distance himself from the noise following the controversy caused by his recent statements and is currently focused on delivering his best on the field.
