The Saudi Al-Hilal Club has sought to open a direct line of communication with the management of Al-Khaleej Club, aiming to reach an early agreement regarding the acquisition of young midfielder Murad Hossawi during the upcoming transfer period.

Saudi press reports, notably from Al-Jazirah newspaper, indicated that Al-Hilal sent an official letter to Al-Khaleej's management, expressing its desire to purchase the contract of the young player who has become the focus of several clubs after his standout performance this season.

Al-Hilal, under the leadership of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, aims to strengthen its midfield with players capable of making a difference, and the name of 24-year-old Murad Hossawi has emerged as a primary target in the club's plan to rejuvenate the team.

Hossawi transferred to Al-Khaleej in the summer of 2024 from Al-Ahd Club on loan, before his move turned into a permanent deal, signing a contract that extends until 2029 according to data from Transfermarkt.

The player has succeeded in delivering impressive performances with Al-Khaleej this season, having participated in 8 matches, including 6 in the Roshen Professional League and 2 in the King's Cup, during which he managed to score one goal and provide two assists, making him one of the most promising names in the league.

Al-Hilal's management hopes to finalize the deal in the coming period, amid expectations of strong negotiations between the two clubs given Al-Khaleej's insistence on retaining its player, who is considered one of the top emerging talents in Saudi midfield.
