Sudden Absences Hit Al-Hilal Before the Critical Match Against Al-Shabab
Thursday 30-10-2025
The duo of Al-Hilal, Uruguayan Darwin Nunez and Serbian Sergej Savic, missed the final training session before the anticipated match against Al-Shabab, as part of the seventh round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.

Saudi newspaper reports indicated that Nunez and Savic were unable to join the team's training due to different injuries that prevented them from participating in collective training.

This absence has confirmed their exclusion from Al-Hilal's lineup for tomorrow's match, after the medical staff failed to prepare them adequately for participation in the awaited clash.

Al-Hilal continues its local season at a strong level, currently occupying third place with 14 points, while aiming to catch up with the top of the standings and achieve another victory to enhance its ambition in the title race.

On the other hand, Al-Shabab enters the match with an eye on improving its position, as it stands in thirteenth place with six points, which increases the importance of the encounter for both teams on the pitch.

Al-Hilal had secured a valuable victory in the last round against Al-Ittihad with a score of two goals to none, giving its supporters a morale boost before the upcoming clash despite the setback of missing the influential duo.
