According to the newspaper "Youm7", Al-Ahly star Imam Ashour will not participate in the upcoming match against Al-Masry Port Said in the league.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Al-Masry next Sunday as part of the 13th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The newspaper clarified that Imam Ashour's absence is due to the continuation of his rehabilitation program to recover from Virus A.

It added that Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor of Al-Ahly, confirmed the stability of the player's health condition and that he has started a gradual return to physical exertion with simple training units, alongside continuous monitoring of his condition and conducting regular tests to ensure the stability of his normal rates, and then entering into intensive rehabilitation training according to the specified program.
