                            Media figure Medhat Shalaby revealed that Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, the star of Nice, has refused to return to Al Ahly in the upcoming January transfer window.
Medhat Shalaby stated on "MBC Masr 2" channel: "Al Ahly is looking to sign a new defender in the upcoming winter transfer market."
He added: "Negotiations took place with Mohamed Abdel-Moneim regarding his return to Al Ahly, but the player informed the officials of the Red Castle that he refuses to return to Al Ahly in January due to his desire to continue his professional journey."
He pointed out: "Turup, the coach of Al Ahly, has given the officials of the Red Castle the green light for the departure of Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari in the upcoming January."
