Reports from 'Fichajes' have revealed that both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have entered into a fierce competition to sign Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, a player for Juventus, in the upcoming period, in a battle that is expected to be decided by only one party.

The report stated that Vlahovic's future remains uncertain after the player refused to renew his contract with Juventus, which expires in June 2026, leading the Italian club to gradually lose control over his contractual situation.

The same source indicated that Juventus management is considering selling Vlahovic for around 15 million euros to avoid losing him for free at the end of his contract, especially after the striker rejected several renewal offers despite earning an annual salary exceeding 12 million euros net.

The report added that Atletico Madrid considers the player a priority in their attacking plans for the next season, given his ability to adapt to the team's style, while Barcelona views Vlahovic as a suitable option to be a long-term replacement for striker Robert Lewandowski, as part of the club's plan to renew its attack.
