Qatari Al-Shamal Begins Serious Negotiations with Aliou Dieng

Media figure Jamal Al-Ghandour revealed through the program "Stadium Al-Mihr" that Al-Shamal Qatari Club has entered into serious negotiations with Al Ahly star Aliou Dieng for a contract.
Al-Ghandour added that Al Ahly's negotiations with Dieng to renew his contract have reached a dead end, as the player requested an amount of $1.85 million for the renewal, which was rejected by the club’s management.
He continued that Sayed Abdel Hafiz, the supervisor of the football sector, decided to freeze the renewal file with Dieng until the upcoming Al Ahly elections are over, as the club wishes to avoid entering into any new commitments before stabilizing the administrative situation.
Al Ahly had drawn with their counterpart Petrojet 1-1 on Wednesday in the 12th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
