Juventus Wins 3-1 Under Interim Coach Brambilla
Massimo Brambilla, the interim coach of Juventus, confirmed that he decided the starting lineup for the match against Udinese in collaboration with the coaching staff after the dismissal of Igor Tudor, noting that the team showed strong character and deserved the win.
Juventus defeated Udinese 3-1 in the team's first match after Tudor's departure, achieving a positive start under Brambilla's leadership.
Brambilla said: "I took over the team just two days before the match, initially working with the Under-23 team on Monday morning, then joining the first team in the evening. I had to assess the players' physical condition and spoke with the coaching staff to determine the appropriate lineup."
He added: "We set a clear game plan, and the early goal helped us a lot. The team showed strength in their reaction after the equalizer, which confirms their character on the pitch."
The interim Juventus coach continued: "I tried to instill confidence in the players and reassure them. They are experienced players and know what they need to do. They deserved the win today with a great performance, especially after they entered the second half with courage."
Brambilla spoke about the brilliance of Keanan Yildz, who scored one of the goals in the match, saying: "Keanan is a talented player, and he should be allowed the freedom to find the spaces he wants. I coached him previously in the Under-23 team, and I see his ideal position as playing from the left side to penetrate into the depth behind the striker. He is an exceptional player and a great person."
Regarding the team's morale after the technical changes, Brambilla said: "The team was going through a difficult period without positive results, and the morale was not at its best, but I asked the players to focus on the match and bring out their best because they have the quality needed to win."
He concluded his remarks by saying: "We prepared for this match in just two days, and the work was similar to what we do with the Next Gen team, but the atmosphere was different. When the fans started cheering, we felt the excitement, and it was a wonderful feeling."
