The Board of Directors of Al-Ittihad Club has taken urgent action ahead of the anticipated match against the Riyadh team, in the Saudi Pro League for the 2025-2026 season, seeking to change the previously scheduled match time.

The sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that the Al-Ittihad management submitted an official request to the Saudi Professional League Association to adjust the timing of the team's match against Riyadh, which is set to take place on Thursday, November 21.

The match is expected to be hosted at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, which was initially scheduled to start at 4:45 PM, as part of the ninth round of the tournament.

Sources indicated that the club's management, headed by Fahd Sindi, requested to move the match to the evening period, confirming that the current timing does not suit the general atmosphere in Jeddah during that time of day.

The Al-Ittihad administration is awaiting a response from the Professional League Association in the coming days to finalize the team's preparatory program ahead of the next match against Al-Khaleej, scheduled to take place at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

It is worth mentioning that the Competitions Committee previously announced the match times for the ninth round, with some matches being rescheduled due to the onset of winter timing, as the matches will be held between 4 PM and 8:30 PM on the day of the round.
