Lyon Enters the Race to Sign Endrick

The ESPN network revealed that French club Lyon is interested in signing Brazilian striker Endrick, a player for Real Madrid, in the upcoming period, given his lack of participation with the team since the start of the season.

Endrick, who is 19 years old, joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 from Brazilian club Palmeiras for 47.5 million euros, with a contract extending until 2030.

The network explained that Lyon's management has made initial contacts with the royal club and the player's agents to discuss the possibility of signing him, noting that the good relationship between the two parties may facilitate negotiations.

The report added that Lyon is considered a suitable destination for Endrick due to the low competition for a starting role and the stable atmosphere within the club compared to Real Madrid, at a time when the player is struggling to get playing minutes under coach Xabi Alonso.

Lyon's interest comes alongside that of French club Marseille and German club Stuttgart, who are also interested in acquiring the services of the young striker, who has expressed openness to leaving in search of regular playing opportunities.

It is worth mentioning that Endrick participated in 37 matches with Real Madrid last season, scoring 7 goals and providing one assist, while he has not played in any matches during the current season so far.
