Spanish newspaper 'Marca' revealed that English full-back Trent Alexander Arnold is facing difficulties in adapting to Real Madrid since his transfer from Liverpool during the last summer transfer window.

The newspaper explained that Arnold, who signed a contract with the royal club until the summer of 2031, has not yet managed to secure his place in the starting lineup of coach Xabi Alonso, due to the difference in playing style as well as his recurring struggles with muscular injuries.

The 27-year-old English star has participated in only five matches with Real Madrid, totaling 156 minutes, after suffering an injury during the match against Olympique Marseille in the first round of the Champions League.

The newspaper confirmed that the coaching staff is giving Arnold ample time to regain his physical fitness and adapt to the new playing style, hoping for his gradual return to regular participation.
