Reports have indicated that English club Tottenham Hotspur is seeking to bring back Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay, the star of Italian club Napoli, during the upcoming winter transfer window, following his impressive performances with the team this season.

According to the "TEAMtalk" website, Tottenham's management has placed McTominay at the top of their priorities to strengthen the midfield, although Napoli does not intend to discuss any offers to sell the player in January.

The report confirmed that 28-year-old McTominay does not plan to leave Napoli during the winter transfer window, as he prefers to continue with the Italian club, with whom he is contracted until the summer of 2028.

McTominay joined Napoli in the summer of 2024 from Manchester United for 30 million euros, according to "Transfermarkt". Since his transfer, he has managed to catch attention with his remarkable performance, having participated in 11 matches this season, scoring 4 goals and assisting 1.
