The Catalan newspaper 'Sport' reported that Spanish star Dani Olmo may return to team training with Barcelona during the next week, in a move indicating that he is nearing recovery from the injury that has kept him off the field since mid-October.

The newspaper clarified that the club's sports director Deco held a meeting today with Olmo's agent to discuss the progress of his physical condition, noting that it is not unlikely for the player to undergo precise medical examinations to determine the source of the muscular discomfort he has been experiencing recently, in preparation for establishing a new preventive plan to ensure his gradual return without setbacks.

Barcelona announced on October 13 that Olmo suffered an injury to the left soleus muscle, which has caused his absence from the team until now.

According to the report, it is likely that Olmo will miss the match against Elche on Sunday in the eleventh round of La Liga, while he may be ready to return against Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League on November 5.
