Al-Ittihad's team outperformed its counterpart Al-Nassr with a score of two goals to one in an exciting match held on Tuesday evening as part of the Round of 16 in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, securing a ticket to the quarterfinals.

French player Karim Benzema opened the scoring early in the 15th minute after a precise pass from Moussa Diaby, giving Al-Ittihad the advantage at the start of the match amid Al-Nassr's attempts to quickly return to the game.

Al-Nassr managed to equalize in the 30th minute through Angelo Gabriel, bringing the match back to square one and igniting the enthusiasm of the fans in the stands.

However, Al-Ittihad snatched the winning goal in stoppage time of the first half through Hossam Aouar, who struck a powerful shot that settled in the Al-Nassr net, ending the first half with a well-deserved lead for Al-Ittihad.

The task became complicated for Al-Ittihad in the second half after the expulsion of their player Ahmed Al-Jlaydan in the 50th minute due to a violent tackle, forcing the team to continue the match with ten players.

Al-Nassr attempted to come back in the final minutes with multiple shots totaling 21 attempts; however, Al-Ittihad's defense and goalkeeper skillfully thwarted them, allowing Al-Ittihad to maintain their lead until the final whistle and continue their journey confidently towards the coveted title.
