The newspaper explained that this step came after Imam Ashour, the team's star, recently contracted Virus A, prompting the medical staff of the red club to enhance precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all team members.
Al Ahly is preparing to face Petrojet next Wednesday in the 12th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Ahly will also participate in the Egyptian Super Cup, scheduled to take place in the UAE from November 6 to 9.
