Belgian coach Paul Put, of the Uganda national team, revealed his selections for the most prominent stars of the African continent for 2025, as part of the annual poll conducted by the "Batalat" website to highlight the most outstanding names in African football.

Paul Put chose Moroccan coach Walid Rekraki as the best coach on the continent, in recognition of the significant work he has done with the Atlas Lions, both in terms of performance and the remarkable results achieved by the Moroccan national team in various competitions.

The Belgian coach also nominated the Moroccan national team for the award of the best African team for 2025, considering the technical stability and the upward trend in performance that characterized Rekraki's squad in recent times.

Paul Put did not overlook praising Moroccan clubs, as he selected RS Berkane as the best African club of the year, rewarding them for their exceptional season in which they won both the "Inwi" Professional League and the African Confederation Cup, confirming that the Berkane club "has become a model of continuity and success in continental football."
