Monday 27-10-2025
Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Barcelona president Joan Laporta visited the Joan Gamper sports city on Monday after the team's 2-1 loss against Real Madrid in El Clasico held at the Santiago Bernabeu, which left the Catalan team five points behind the top of the table.

According to the newspaper, Laporta arrived at the premises at a time when some players, such as Pau Cubarsi and Dani Olmo, had already left, and before he departed, Ronald Araujo was the last player to leave just two minutes after him.

The newspaper clarified that coach Hans Flick and several players, including Lamine Yamal, were still inside the premises during Laporta's visit, with the president coinciding with Yamal for about 20 minutes.

The report indicated that Laporta was keen to support the players and coaching staff, assuring them of his complete confidence in the team, which is the same message he conveyed to them during the return trip from Madrid. He also spoke with sporting director Deco, expressing optimism about the upcoming matches, especially with the imminent return of key players like Lewandowski, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, and Juan Garcia.

The report noted that vice president of sports Rafa Yusti attended the recovery training on Monday morning and left the premises after it concluded.
