The duo is just one step away from entering Al Hilal's history through the widest doors, as they will reach five consecutive seasons in the Zaeem's jersey, a record that no foreign player has achieved since Zambian defender Elijah Litana, who played for the team between 1995 and 2000.

According to the sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," the continuation of Bono and Savic until the end of 2028 will grant them a place among the list of the longest-serving foreign players at Al Hilal, a feat that reflects the management's confidence in their high technical value.

Bono joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Sevilla FC, where he delivered an impressive performance between the posts and contributed to the team winning several local and continental titles in a short period.

As for Sergej Savic, he donned the blue jersey in the same summer, coming from Lazio, preferring to extend his contract despite the enticing offers he received from major European clubs like Juventus and Chelsea.
