Allegri Considers Excluding Jimenez from Atalanta Match
According to "Football Italy," Massimiliano Allegri, the head coach of AC Milan, is considering excluding Mexican striker Santiago Jimenez from the starting lineup during the team's upcoming match against Atalanta in Serie A.
The newspaper reported that Allegri is dissatisfied with Jimenez's recent performances, especially after his modest display in the recent match against Pisa, where the coach criticized him sharply during the game, saying: "Wake up, are you asleep?".
The report indicated that Jimenez has not scored any goals in Serie A this season, managing only one goal in ten matches played across all competitions.
Allegri is expected to replace Jimenez by relying on Christopher Nkunku alongside Rafael Leao, as Christian Pulisic continues to be sidelined due to injury.
AC Milan currently occupies third place in the Serie A standings with 17 points, just one point behind leaders Roma and Napoli.
