Egyptian press sources confirmed today, Monday, that Al-Ahly club officials are preparing to reacquire Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, the former team defender and current player for Nice FC, either during the upcoming winter transfer window or at the end of the current season.
According to reports from Egypt, Al-Ahly's management has started a serious study regarding the reacquisition of Mohamed Abdel-Moneim in the upcoming period, planning to sign him on loan.
The reports confirmed that there is a consensus within Al-Ahly's management on Abdel-Moneim's return, and consultations will be held with the player and his club to understand their demands to complete the deal.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Abdel-Moneim transferred to Nice FC in the summer of 2024 for 3 million euros on a 5-year contract.
