Former Al-Ahly Star Launches Attack on John Edward
Mahmoud Abu Al-Dahab, the former Al-Ahly star, attacked John Edward, the sports director at Zamalek, following his recent statement in which he asked Zamalek fans to be patient.
Abu Al-Dahab said via "On Sport FM": "John Edward's statement? That's something that shouldn't be said with a big club like Zamalek."
He added: "You are addressing Zamalek fans after realizing the truth that the experiment is a failure. Zamalek is competing for titles; they want the league, the cup, and Africa, not just slogans."
He continued: "He says support me? Why did you accept the mission then? The statement should be an apology for the past period, and you should leave the mission, and don't give people dreams just to let them down."
