Crisis Within Al-Ahly Due to Injuries of Moroccan Ashraf Dari
Sunday 26-10-2025
A new crisis has erupted within the Egyptian Al-Ahly Football Club due to the recurring injuries suffered by Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari, which have caused sharp disagreements between the medical staff and the football management regarding the nature of his injury and the reality of his readiness.

According to reports, Al-Ahly's management holds Dr. Ahmed Jaballah, the head of the medical staff, responsible for failing to detect the player's injuries in the hip and back areas during the medical examinations that preceded his signing.

For his part, Jaballah defended himself, confirming that the tests and scans conducted on the player before signing did not reveal any chronic injuries, indicating that the health crisis emerged later after his official joining of the team and during the preparation period for the new season.

Reports indicated that Al-Ahly's management is currently seeking a solution to the crisis after attempts to terminate the contract amicably have failed, as Dari insists on receiving all his financial entitlements according to the terms of the contract.

The report added that the issue of Dari's injury has caused dissatisfaction within the planning committee and the technical staff, especially given his continued absence since the start of the season, which has led the management to consider dismissing the head of the medical staff; however, the lack of a suitable replacement to take over the medical duties has delayed the decision.
