In a balanced first half in terms of control, Mohammed Jawad managed to give Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya the lead by scoring the first goal in the 44th minute, ending the first half with the Falcons ahead.

At the start of the second half, Al-Gharaf surprised their hosts with a quick comeback, as Anas Al-Maari succeeded in equalizing by scoring the equalizer in the 48th minute, bringing the match back to square one.
