Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour attacked Yanic Ferreira, the coach of Zamalek, for allowing Mohamed El-Sayed, a Zamalek player, to take a penalty kick in the match against the Somali team Dikadaha.

Mohamed El-Sayed missed the penalty in the 64th minute of the match between Zamalek and the Somali team Dikadaha in the second leg of the 32nd round of the African Confederation.

Zamalek fans criticized Mohamed El-Sayed during the match due to rumors about the player's potential move to Al-Ahly for free next season, as his contract with Zamalek ends at the end of the current season.

Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "Mohamed El-Sayed was attacked by Zamalek fans due to not renewing his contract. The translator went to Yanic Ferreira, and the coach said Mohamed El-Sayed should take the penalty, and he missed it. The coach said he supports him and that's it."

He added: "The coach doesn't understand anything; he supports a player against fans who are upset with a player who hasn't done anything and is not willing to renew. Moreover, he missed the penalty, as if the coach is defying the fans and going against the club. Unfortunately, for the last time, the coach is not suitable for Zamalek; he doesn't know how to set the lineup, he doesn't play players in their positions, he is late in substitutions, and he doesn't know how to read the match."
