Al Hilal Secures Classic Victory Over Al Ittihad with Clean Sheet

Al Hilal managed to achieve a valuable victory against their hosts Al Ittihad with a score of 2-0 in the match that took place on Friday evening as part of the sixth round of the Saudi Pro League Roshan.

Al Hilal opened the scoring in the 42nd minute when Al Ittihad defender Mohamedou Doumbia scored an own goal, giving the capital's blue team the lead at the end of the first half after a strong performance from both sides.

In the second half, Brazilian Marcos Leonardo enhanced Al Hilal's lead by adding the second goal in the 57th minute, taking advantage of a mistake by Al Ittihad's goalkeeper Hamid Al-Shanqeeti in handling the ball.

Al Ittihad attempted to return to the match through offensive pressure and crosses, but Al Hilal's defense and goalkeeper skillfully thwarted all attempts, while the referee disallowed a goal scored by Darwin Nunez in the 86th minute for offside.

Al Hilal dominated the match with a possession rate of 55% compared to 45% for Al Ittihad, and also excelled in the number of shots on goal with 15 attempts compared to 11 for their opponent.

With this victory, Al Hilal continued their series of positive results in the tournament, raising their points total to 14 in the Roshan League standings, while Al Ittihad's points remained at 10 following the defeat.
